A group of MBA students traveled to San Jose, Costa Rica, over the spring break holiday for a study-tour of the Central American republic. Led by Associate Professor of Management Corinne Young, the group visited the Café Britte Coffee Plantation to see how their business is run, as well as points of interest such as University of Peace, Volcano National Park, Museo de Oro, Braulio Carillo National Park, and the US Embassy. The group included students from SLU’s online MBA program and on-ground programs at the main campus, and the university’s regional education centers. Another MBA study-tour group traveled to Taipei, Taiwan. The students earned credit for either Global Business Management or Strategic Business Management classes.
